ASCOMOS 2016, the Annual Scientific Conference of the Malaysian Oncological Society 2016, is an essential part of the Malaysian Oncology Organisation as it’s an annual opportunity for all like-minded people to gather and discuss current cancer treatment issues.
But the 4-day event (10-13th November) was not all work and no play at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel in Johor Bharu. Our exhibitor, Eli Lilly and Company, helped brighten up the conference by provided Instant Gift Printing services for all ASCOMOS 2016 attendees.
Guests took turns getting their pictures taken before having those pictures printed on a FREE 11oz mug of their own! No doubt the doctors and nurses were all pretty excited about it.
The printing station operated from 9am to 5pm each day at the Lilly Booth. Over 300 white mugs were printed during the 4-day event. With a number of colourful props and a few interesting poses from the guests, everyone was picture perfect!
We were so humbled in the presence of a few of Malaysia’s cancer specialists and were thrilled to be there to provide a photography platform for them to make memorable gifts with each other. It also allowed a them a chance to interact with their colleagues.
Friendships and memories were made throughout the conference in Johor. With the year’s theme Embracing New Dimensions of Precision Cancer Management, it was a great event where oncology updates were discussed over lunch and tea.
