This is a cause for celebrations! We have worked so hard for this and are very grateful to receive such overwhelming response from all of you. From the bottom of our hearts, we cannot thank you enough for your support and participation in our Printcious Art Contest. We definitely saw some amazing artwork this year and we know you will continue to surprise and amaze us.
Throughout the 50 days of submissions, we received over 1000 entries but out of those entries, a number had to be rejected due to multiple reasons ranging from duplicate entries to downright plagiarism. However, we did not let it discourage us. We persisted and carried on to fulfill our objectives; to discover, reward and educate Southeast Asian designers and digital artists for their artistic styles, designs and creativity.
During the voting period from 21st to 31st May, we received a mountain of visits and found that voters have cast a grand total of 8000 votes for all the artwork that were submitted. We are blown away from all of your support, especially the 346 talented designers that made this happen. Take a look at how some of them customised their gifts using their artworks on our Facebook album.
As we have made known, our winners will be chosen through 50% public voting and 50% judging by our panel of esteemed judges. We are excited to announce that we will be able to name all our winners by the 10th of June 2016. So, stay tuned if you’re as excited about it as we are because it won’t be long now before we crown the winners of Printcious Art Contest!
