On April 12th, 2016, Student Association (SA) of University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus (UNMC), along with Printcious, celebrated its 10th anniversary and UNMC’s own 15th anniversary in conjunction with the Student Association Carnival, one of the highlights of the Sustainability Network for the academic year of 2015/2016.

While celebrations were abound throughout the campus, the SA of UNMC did not forget to raise the subject of sustainable issues and increase the public awareness regarding such issues. Previous years have seen them succeed in raising more than RM10,000 for the Malaysia Council for Rehabilitation (MCR) and Malaysia Rare Diseases Society (MRDS).
Through collaborations with many supportive organizations and private sponsors, this year they looked to reach out to the underprivileged by raising funds for the Dignity for Children Foundation (DCF).

Printcious is proud to sponsor more than a thousand button badges that was sold to the students of UNMC to raise funds for their cause. We also offered to sponsor a 2.5 hours photo booth session where each picture taken was also sold for charity purposes.

Performances were held by Jenn Chia and Mark O’Dea, two prominent names in the Malaysian entertainment industry. Both are very well known public figures which many will recognize as TV hosts and Youtubers. The attendees of the carnival definitely enjoyed themselves in the merry atmosphere.

From day to night, the SA of UNMC made sure that the event progressed smoothly with many interesting games and activities ranging from fun and simple games to a deejay coming over to spin some wicked tunes for everyone to dance along to.
