SMK Teluk Gadong Students Explore Entrepreneurship in Printing at DIY Printing Supply
DIY Printing Supply recently had the honor of hosting a group of 20 students and 5 accompanying teachers and parents from SMK Teluk Gadong. The visit was part of an educational program themed “Generating Income in the Field of Printing”.
The initiative aimed to spark students’ interest in discovering how merchandise and T-shirt printing can become a viable pathway for entrepreneurship, particularly for both lower and upper secondary students. Beyond being a simple visit, it was a valuable platform for young participants to gain real-world exposure to business opportunities in the creative printing industry.
Program Activity
The highlight of this visit revolved around the theme “Menjana Pendapatan dalam Bidang Percetakan” or “Generating Income in the Printing Industry.”
Through this hands-on experience, the students were not only given an overview of the printing process but were also guided on how the industry opens doors for youth entrepreneurship. The event provided a meaningful bridge between classroom learning and practical business knowledge.
Students’ Growing Interest in Printing Entrepreneurship
Among the 20 students who joined, three to four showed particularly strong interest in exploring entrepreneurship opportunities within the field of merchandise and T-shirt printing. This was an encouraging sign for the organizers, as it demonstrated how exposure to real business environments can inspire ambition and creativity among young learners.
The students were able to witness first-hand how printing machines operate, how designs are applied onto products, and how these products can be marketed effectively. DIY Printing Supply presented the visitors with 27 sublimation-printed mugs, while SMK Teluk Gadong expressed their appreciation by gifting a plaque and certificate.
