Custom Sublimation Patch Printing

Yes, sublimation gives vibrant full-colour results, so multi-colour logos, gradients and photographic artwork all reproduce well. This is the main reason to choose it over embroidery when your design has fine detail that stitching cannot follow, so send your highest-quality original file.

A proof or mockup reaches you for approval before any patch is printed. The design can still be revised after you order, and since dye colours can differ slightly from a screen, treat the proof as the moment to confirm your brand shades.

Send JPEG, PNG, AI, PSD or PDF at 300 DPI in CMYK colour mode, as CMYK is required here and RGB or Pantone can shift colours. Fonts in AI files must be outlined, and a sharp original matters because the page says print quality follows your image.

A sublimation patch is a fabric patch printed with heat-transferred dye, so the design becomes part of the material instead of being stitched. It suits jackets, bags and hats, and gives sharp full-colour artwork for uniforms, promotions and corporate gifts.

Yes, corporate bulk orders start from 20 pieces. That suits team jackets, caps or bag patches for a department or club, and mixing several designs in one order is worth raising in your quotation request so they can be planned together.

They use dye sublimation, where heat turns solid dye into a gas that bonds with the fabric fibres, so the image becomes part of the patch rather than a layer on top. This works best on light, polyester-type base fabric, which is why white cannot be printed.

No, the page describes sublimation prints as resistant to fading, cracking and peeling, because the dye becomes part of the fabric surface rather than sitting on top as a layer. Follow normal care, washing gently and avoiding harsh bleach, to keep the colours bright.

Yes, you can request a sample before placing a bulk order. Compare the printed colours with your brand shade on screen, and check the edge finish and flexibility on a real patch, and hold it against the jacket or cap it will go on, then confirm your quantity.

Yes, they work well on jackets, caps and bags where a detailed, many-colour emblem is wanted, such as a company crest with gradients. For plain staff uniforms with one bold logo, compare with an embroidery patch, which stitches simple shapes cleanly, before you decide.

No, sublimation cannot print white, because the dye is transparent and relies on the colour of the base material. White areas in your design show the patch fabric itself, so choose a white or light base if you want bright, true colours, and avoid pale designs on dark bases.

Sublimation prints flat, sharp full-colour images, including photos and gradients, while embroidery stitches thread for a raised texture that suits bold logos. Pick sublimation for detailed artwork and embroidery for a classic, tactile uniform badge look, especially when lettering is bold and the colours are few.

As a rule of thumb, choose sublimation for photos, gradients and many colours, and embroidery for bold logos with a textured finish. Avoid designs that rely on white, then request a quotation or chat on WhatsApp with your artwork and quantity.
